Producer says Sonic the Hedgehog movie series is on par with "Avengers"

The filming of the movie "Sonic the Hedgehog 3" was completed last month, and its spin-off series "Knuckles" will also be launched on the streaming platform Paramount + in North America later this month.

In an interview with foreign media Paste, Toby Ascher, producer of the "Sonic the Hedgehog" series, mentioned that they were "very excited" about the idea of ​​expanding the characters in the movies to the TV series, especially that this provided them with a "platform for real character research."

Toby Asher also said: "With 'Shat' going into 'Sonic 3' and some of the bigger things we want to do, the 'Sonic' movie series will be an event on the level of 'Avengers'."

In addition, Toby Asher mentioned that there will be many different characters in the story of the movie, so the related spin-off TV series gives them the opportunity to "really shape these characters in a cool way."
