"Heavenly Grail 2: Lost Butterfly" was released in Japan on January 12, 2019. Although it has been confirmed to be introduced to mainland China, the specific release date is still awaiting further official news.

This film is adapted from the text adventure game "Fate/stay night" produced by TYPE-MOON. It is the second chapter of the three-part animated theatrical version of the final route "HF Line" of the game.
