Over 1 million people petitioned to remake Game of Thrones Season 8, and the screenwriter was criticized for incompetence

According to foreign media reports, before the deadline, 1.02 million people had signed a petition on the website Change.org to remake the final season of "Game of Thrones", and everyone pointed the finger at the two screenwriters D&D.

In the petition, the netizen criticized David Benioff and DB Weiss, the two screenwriters of the eighth season of "Game of Thrones", accusing them of "being very incompetent screenwriters without any reference to the original works." The angry netizen had previously called for: "Let's reach 1.5 million people!"

Matt Harvey also signed the petition, writing: "I am deeply disappointed with the way D&D handled this series. I hope to read the original work of "Game of Thrones" to get a better story." A netizen named Aaron DeMun said: "I madly caught up on the first 7 seasons, only to find that all the foreshadowing in the past was meaningless."

Despite the growing criticism from fans about Season 8 of Game of Thrones, the show's final season has hit record highs in viewership, with the latest episode airing last week attracting 12.5 million online viewers. What will HBO think of these petitions?
