Avengers 4 director: Downey is the only one who has read the entire script

The Russo brothers recently revealed that Downey may be the only one who has read the full script. The reason they did this is to reduce the pressure on the actors to reveal spoilers.

The Russo brothers, directors of "Avengers 4", said in an interview with Rotten Tomatoes that "Downey may be the only actor who has read the complete script", while "Doctor Strange" Benedict Cumberbatch only got part of the script containing his scenes, and the same goes for "Captain America" ​​Chris Evans.

Anthony Russo then added: "Part of our motivation for doing this is to relieve the pressure on the actors, because it's hard to think about what you want to say and how to say it. These movies occupy your life, and everything you face every day is related to the movies, and you will want to talk about it. So in order to relieve everyone's pressure, we tell them, 'Okay, the less you know, the less you have to care about what you say.'"

Joe Russo also said: "As long as they don't read the rest of the script, they don't know what happened, and it's much easier to talk to others. We did more of this in "Avengers 4". Compared with "Avengers 3", this time the confidentiality work is much more."

"Avengers 4" will be officially released in mainland China on the 24th of this month. The North American release date of the film is April 26th.
