No Time to Die delayed due to outdated Nokia phones in the film requiring reshoots

The fate of No Time to Die, the 25th Bond film and Daniel Craig's final work, has been full of twists and turns. The film was originally scheduled to be released in April 2019, but the original director and co-writer Danny Boyle resigned. After the delay, the pandemic hit, and the release date was delayed again and again.

Recently, the film company adjusted the release date again, from April this year to October. As for the reason, some media reported that it was related to Nokia.

It turns out that as early as 2020, Nokia revealed that it had reached a product placement cooperation with the film. However, as the release date of the film was adjusted, the originally implanted mobile phone model became outdated.

In the initial trailer, Nokia implanted Nokia's 7.2, which was later changed to Nokia 8.3 5G. However, Nokia 8.3 5G was also released in October last year, and it will not be a new model when it is released in the future, so the delay this time is to reshoot some shots and replace them with new models.
