New stills from The Lord of the Rings: The Power of the Rings series show the significance of including people of color

Recently, new stills from the series "The Lord of the Rings: The Power of the Rings" were released, showing the Hobbits, including Sadoc Burrows, played by Lenny Henry.

Henry said that the little people in Middle-earth can bring comic effects and show incredible courage, and the audience will see their adventures in the series. Henry also said that it is meaningful to add people of color to Middle-earth to make Middle-earth diverse. People of color will have a place in this fantasy drama, which will make children and audiences very excited.

Producer Payne said that Amazon bought all five seasons of The Lord of the Rings: The Power of the Rings in one go, and had planned them long ago. These five seasons have a beginning, an end, and a process, and even the finale scene has been designed. Some content in the first season will not be echoed until the fifth season, so the audience does not have to worry about the series being temporarily changed.

Payne also said that although the "Lord of the Rings: The Power of the Rings" series does not tell the story created by Tolkien himself, he believes that it fits in with Tolkien's imagination of the wider Middle-earth world. He said: "Tolkien wanted to leave a myth to leave room for other people's ideas and creations. We are doing what Tolkien wanted, and as long as our creation fits in with the core of Tolkien's story, it must be the right path."

The first season of The Lord of the Rings: The Power of the Rings will premiere on September 2, with a total of 8 episodes. It is reported that the first season cost $465 million, making it the most expensive TV series ever, and this is only one season.
