The last scene that Akira Toriyama created for Dragon Ball Super was Piccolo's farewell

The famous Japanese cartoonist Akira Toriyama passed away due to illness this month, but his works such as "Dragon Ball" and "Arale" will always influence the comics industry.

Recently, Toyotaro, the official cartoonist of "Dragon Ball Super", shared the guidance on content creation given by Akira Toriyama before his death. It was the scene where Piccolo and others left for the last time.

In Toyotaro's original painting, Goku, Gohan and Piccolo come to the kindergarten to pick up Goku's granddaughter Fang, and then everyone flies into the sky with their backs to the screen. Akira Toriyama provided his own suggestion for this scene. He had Piccolo, who was standing at the end of the crowd, turn around and wave goodbye "as if saying goodbye to a kindergarten teacher" before flying away to catch up with Goku and his group.

According to Toyotaro himself, this scene appeared at the end of Dragon Ball Super Chapter 103, which is the latest chapter published in V JUMP this month. He noticed the obituary of Akira Toriyama only after submitting the manuscript. There seems to be a deep meaning behind this.
