"Black Widow" independent film new cast revealed "Stranger Things" actor David Harbour joins

Foreign media Variety revealed more details about Marvel's "Black Widow" independent film today. According to reports, "Stranger Things" actor David Harbour and "The Mummy" (1999) actress Rachel Weisz are discussing with the film company to play roles in the "Black Widow" movie.

David Harbour plays Sheriff Hawkins in "Stranger Things" and is also the star of the new version of "Hellboy"

Variety said that although neither of them has yet been confirmed to star, Rachel Weisz will play a "key role" in the film and there is "strong interest on both sides of the negotiations."

Last month it was reported that "Fighting With My Family" star Florence Pugh would play the second female lead in the film.

The Black Widow independent film is directed by female director Cate Shortland, who once directed the thriller The Berlin Syndrome released in 2017. It is not clear whether the Black Widow independent film timeline is before or after Avengers 4.

The character of Black Widow first appeared in "Iron Man 2" in 2010. Since then, many fans abroad have asked Marvel to make an independent movie about this character.
