Jennifer Lawrence may star in the live-action Tom and Jerry movie

According to Deadline, Warner Bros. has just announced that two new movies will be released, namely the popular "Sesame Street" and "Tom and Jerry" in the 1950s. Warner Bros. announced that the live-action movies of these two major IPs will be released in 2021 at the same time.

The motion capture live-action musical "Sesame Street" is scheduled to be released on January 15, 2021. The film will be shot by MGM from June this year, and it will co-invest in the project with Warner. The live-action version of "Tom and Jerry" will be directed by Tim Story, the director of the old "Fantastic Four" series of films, and is officially scheduled for April 16, 2021.

The official also released a concept still of the live-action version of "Tom and Jerry". The picture shows cousin "Jennifer Lawrence" with Tom and Jerry, but the cast of the film has not yet been determined.
