The original animation "DIY Club!!" will soon be adapted into a live-action series

The official website of PINE JAM's original TV anime "DIY Club!!" announced today (April 11) that a live-action adaptation of the anime is in the works. Like the anime, the live-action version will be filmed in Sanjo City, Niigata Prefecture. The anime series will be held on May 28 to announce more details of the new project.

The original animation premiered in October 2022 and ended in December of the same year, with a total of 12 episodes. The animation revolves around the daily lives of girls from Ryume High School and tells the story of their daily activities in the school's DIY club. The animation also spawned a comic work, which began serialization at the same time as the animation. Two single volumes have been released so far, and the latest volume 2 was published on March 7, 2023.
