The Japanese historical blockbuster "Kingdom" set in China's Spring and Autumn Period and Warring States Period has released a set of character posters and a large number of stills. Kento Yamazaki plays the protagonist Li Xin; Ryo Yoshizawa plays two roles, one as the King of Qin Ying Zheng and the boy Piao who looks like Ying Zheng; Masami Nagasawa plays the female general Yang Duanhe (the real person in history was a man); Kanna Hashimoto plays the original character He Liao Diao; Kanata Hongo plays Ying Zheng's younger brother Cheng Jiao; Takao Osawa plays Wang Qi, one of the six generals of the "Qin State". These six people appeared in the latest character posters. "Kingdom" was created by Japanese manga artist Hara Yasuhisa. The story is set in the Spring and Autumn Period and the Warring States Period in China. It tells the story of Li Xin, a young man from the Qin State, who was an orphan from the lower class and determined to become a hero in troubled times. In addition to some original characters, many real historical figures also appear in the comics. The grand history of the seven hegemons of the Warring States Period is presented one by one in the comics, and the exciting battle scenes have made this work attract countless fans. "Kingdom" is scheduled to be released in Japan on April 19, 2019. |
