The second male lead of "Aquaman" hopes that future DC movies can whitewash the ocean lord

Patrick Wilson's role as the "Ocean Lord" Orm in "Aquaman" left a deep impression on many viewers. Although "Aquaman 2" has not yet been confirmed to start filming, the sequel seems very promising in terms of both box office and word of mouth, which means that Wilson may have the opportunity to continue to play the Ocean Lord in the future.

"There's nothing to know," Wilson told GameSpot. "I mean, I know a little bit, but I'm speaking as a fan. When you see that scene before the ring of fire, when he says 'Go home, Arthur,' you see a man who truly loves his brothers and doesn't want to see them kill each other. And then you see him with his mother at the end, and you see karma, and you see a normal person, a son, a man who was defeated but didn't give up completely. I think the key question is whether you can believe him. I certainly think he can do a lot."

Wilson went on to say that the most appealing thing about the character of Orm is not his evil, but his willingness to do anything to save his people. "We learn about Orm through his own words and deeds and what others say about him. You hear about his deeds and about his leadership. How he was angry at his half-brother. How he ruled Atlantis. How Atlantis got into trouble, and then you see how angry he was about the surface world's pollution of the ocean. When you see this, you immediately start to care about this character. As an audience, the fun thing is that sometimes your personal likes and dislikes of a character don't matter. You just care about a character and watch his ending. The information you know is enough. He is an angry character who is upset about family problems and is jealous of his half-brother. He is an evil warrior, but he really wants to save his ocean."

In the post-credits scene of Aquaman, we see that the film is likely to continue to make sequels, and it may focus more on the political struggle of Atlantis. Aquaman's next enemy should be Black Manta. So by then, Aquaman may naturally form an alliance with the Lord of the Sea.

Therefore, if "Aquaman" has a sequel, there is a high possibility that Orm will continue to appear and be whitewashed.
