James Wan reveals the plot of The Conjuring 3: A new horror story and nightmares return

The DC movie "Aquaman" has not yet been released in North America. James Wan and the film's main creators are traveling around North America to promote it. Recently, when answering questions from the media, he revealed the plot of "The Conjuring 3".

When asked about The Conjuring 3 by reporters, James Wan mentioned some basic settings of the film's plot for the first time. "In the film, a guy is tried for murder, and I think this is the first time in American history that a defendant has used being possessed as a defense." Although this is the only thing James Wan mentioned about the plot, we can fully imagine the story scenes of The Conjuring 3, and a new round of horror stories will unfold around this trial.

James Wan and Vera Farmiga

"All of the 'Conjuring' movies are based on the Warrens' archives, so this is more about the true story of the couple." Wan Ziren continued, "The inspiration for the original series comes from real people, and I think it's very important to maintain this sense of authenticity. The spin-offs give us more fun and can put into practice some weird and clever crazy ideas."

James Wan will return to "The Conjuring 3" as a producer, and Michael Chavez, director of "Curse of the Weeping Woman", will direct the film. The exorcist couple Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga are expected to return.
