Goku, the protagonist of the "Dragon Ball" series, will participate in this year's 92nd Thanksgiving Parade in the form of a Super Saiyan! According to organizers, the Goku balloon is 56 feet tall and as wide as seven taxis. Before the parade, organizers also posted a tweet about the balloon's design on Twitter, stating that the balloon was made by Toei Animation. Goku will be the first Japanese manga character to participate in the Thanksgiving Day parade, and on Twitter we also saw a giant Pikachu in the parade. Does this mean that other mascots independent of American culture will appear in the next Thanksgiving Day parade? Official Twitter video about making balloons: |
