Goddess Gadot also postponed the release of "Wonder Woman 2" to the summer of 2020

According to foreign media reports, Hollywood actress Gal Gadot recently announced on Twitter that the DC superhero movie "Wonder Woman 1984" in which she stars has been officially postponed from November 1, 2019 to June 5, 2020.

Jeff Goldstein, director of domestic distribution at Warner Bros., also issued a statement saying, “The last time we released Wonder Woman in the summer, it was a huge success, so when we saw an opportunity in the changing situation this time, we decided to seize it. This postponement has allowed the film to find its true place.”

In the previous November 2019 schedule, the main competitors of "Wonder Woman 1984" were "Terminator 6" (November 15) and the live-action CG animation "Sonic the Hedgehog" (November 8). In the early June 2020 schedule, it currently only faces competition from Dwayne Johnson's "Red Notice"; "Wonder Woman 1984" is expected to shine in this summer.

At the same time, Warner also announced the cancellation of the release date of "Six Billion Dollar Man" starring Mark Wahlberg, which was previously scheduled to be released on the current date of "Wonder Woman 1984".
