The Witcher live-action TV series will be filmed in Europe, filming locations revealed

According to foreign media reports, Netflix's live-action TV series "The Witcher" will be filmed in Budapest, Hungary. Considering that the entire "Witcher" series takes place in Europe, it is reasonable to choose to shoot in Europe and be faithful to the original work.

Foreign media also revealed that in addition to Budapest, the crew will go to other parts of Europe to shoot later, but Hungary will be the main shooting location.

At present, NetFlix has not announced the leading actor of the live-action TV series of "The Witcher". Recently, Henry Cavill, who plays "Superman", and Doug Cockle, who voices White Wolf, have both expressed interest in the role of White Wolf, but the crew has not yet responded.

The Witcher TV series is not adapted from CDPR's The Witcher series of games, but is based on the original novel, so the game developer CDPR is not involved.

The TV series "The Witcher" has a total of 8 episodes. The characters confirmed to appear include the White Wolf, the White Wolf's mount "Carrot", Ciri, Triss, Yennefer and others. Each episode is about an hour long and the broadcast time may be 2020.
