The online game adaptation movie "Zhengtu" has started filming! The production scale is not small

Today, the film "Zhengtu", adapted from the famous online game, was announced to start filming. The film is jointly produced by Star Overseas Films, Alibaba Films, and Giant Films, with Zheng Baorui as the producer, Chen Desen as the director, and Dong Wei as the action director. The game of the same name "Zhengtu" was once very popular. The game developer is Shanghai Giant Network Technology Co., Ltd., and the company's "Giant Film" also participated in the production of this film.

Producer Cheang Pou-soi has directed films such as "Journey to the West: Kingdom of Women", "Journey to the West: The Monkey King 3: The Demon King", "SPL 2", etc. He will also direct new films such as "SPL 3" and "Teeth". "Journey" director Teddy Chan is a versatile Hong Kong filmmaker who is very good at action and gunfight films. His previous works include "The Spy Who Shook Up", "Purple Storm", "A Man's Martial Arts" and so on.

Although the film "Zhengtu" held a launch ceremony, no more information was revealed. The launch poster simply and crudely wrote the film's title, production company and main creators in yellow letters on a red background, and other information about the film was kept strictly confidential. Judging from the set photos exposed on the scene, the film's set is very complicated, and a large crane was deployed. I guess the scale of the film's production should be quite large.
