Undersea Jurassic "Megalodon" trailer and poster Li Bingbing is so beautiful

Today, the action science fiction adventure film "The Meg" announced that it will be released worldwide on August 10, and released the "Deep Sea Descent" version of the trailer and poster. This thrilling story, known as the "Underwater Jurassic", has officially begun, and the prehistoric deep-sea monster Megalodon has also revealed its true appearance.

The film was produced by "Transformers" producer Lorenzo di Bonaventura, "Before the Devil Knows You're Dead" producer Bella Avery, directed by "National Treasure" director Joe Dettuba, and co-starred by Jason Statham, Li Bingbing, Ruby Rose, Winston Chao, Cai Shuya and others.

"The Meg" is adapted from the science fiction series of the same name by American writer Steve Alton. It tells the story of an international marine research project team that discovered a prehistoric new world while exploring the deep sea through the Mariana Trench. The prehistoric giant Megalodon attacked the exploration team and chased them out of the deep sea, triggering an unprecedented marine disaster crisis. Former US Marine Corps deep-sea diving expert Jonas Taylor (Jason Statham) teamed up with Chinese female scientist Zhang Suyin (Li Bingbing) to successfully rescue the trapped people on the seabed and fight a life-and-death battle with the Megalodon to resolve the crisis.

Unlike previous shark movies, the film's protagonist, "Megalodon", is not a shark species that exists today, but a prehistoric behemoth that was once thought to have only existed 23 million years ago. It is huge in size, over 20 meters long and weighs 70 tons. Its oral bite force exceeds that of Tyrannosaurus Rex, giving this underwater expedition a mysterious and unknown color.

In the poster released this time, although the Megalodon only shows a terrifying mouth full of sharp teeth, the comparison with ordinary sharks and humans shows the Megalodon's unparalleled aircraft carrier-class body. Coupled with the mysterious and dark deep-sea environment, humans appear particularly helpless and weak in this food chain confrontation.

In the trailer, several leading actors appeared. Jason Statham is still a lone hero in the sky and sea, fighting with Megalodon many times, and there are a lot of difficult underwater action scenes. Jason's partner this time, Li Bingbing, is not only the core scientist of the deep-sea exploration team, but also personally goes into the sea to help Jason fight monsters, which can be said to be both civil and military.
