The sequel to the acclaimed masterpiece "IT" is scheduled to be released in North America in September 2019

Recently, New Line Cinema and Warner Bros. Entertainment announced that the acclaimed masterpiece "Stephen King's IT: Chapter 2" will be released in North America on September 6, 2019.

We can be sure that the sequel to Andres Muschietti's hugely successful and record-breaking thriller IT will be released on the big screen as planned.

Gary Dauberman, one of the screenwriters of the movie "IT", has been confirmed to write the sequel. If nothing unexpected happens, Muschietti will also return to direct the sequel. The sequel is completely adapted from Stephen King's original work. The story is set 27 years after the first "IT" and revolves around the members of the Loser's club as adults.

From the early stages of the film's preparations, it was decided that IT would be shot in two films, and Bill Skarsgard, who plays the terrifying clown Pennywise, said he hoped to explore the more abstract and metaphysical aspects of the original IT.
