"Ghostbusters 2: Frozen City" releases first trailer New York is frozen again

The classic IP movie "Ghostbusters" returns again. This film is a 2021 fantasy comedy sequel directed and written by Jason Reitman and produced by Sony Pictures.

In Ghostbusters 2: Iceborne, the Spengler family returns to New York to reunite with the original Ghostbusters to begin a new investigation into the paranormal. And when the discovery of an ancient artifact unleashes an evil force, the kids must once again don their nuclear-powered proton packs as Ghostbusters old and new unite to protect their home and save the world from a second ice age.

While Ghostbusters 2: Iceborne does look more adult based on the trailer, the film retains the humor and child-friendly tone and certainly doesn't return to the adult humor of the original film.

The film will be released in North American theaters on March 29, 2024, starring Ant-Man actor "Paul Rudd", Mckenna Grace, Finn Wolfhard, Kumail Nanjiani, Carrie Coon, Bill Murray and others.
