Katsura Masakazu's live-action drama "Blade Runner" cast revealed, to premiere in October

One of the masterpieces of the famous Japanese cartoonist Katsura Masakazu, the new live-action TV series of "Blade Runner", his debut work, is scheduled to be first released on DMM TV network on October 16 and will be broadcast on TV stations on October 22. The official cast lineup was announced a few days ago, let's take a look.

"Silver Wing Superman" is a Japanese adventure-themed youth manga, and is the debut work of the famous cartoonist Katsura Masakazu. It began serialization in "Weekly Shonen Jump" in 1983. The story tells that the protagonist picked up a girl's notebook and drew his favorite "Silver Wing Superman" on it, but he didn't expect that it was a "dream notebook" that could turn the things written in the notebook into reality.

In the live-action version of "Blade Runner", the male lead Kenta Hirono will be played by Masato Fujioka, and the female lead AOI will be played by Konatsu Kato. The director is confirmed to be Koichi Sakamoto, and Tomoki Maeda will be the producer. The opening theme song is confirmed to be "chang[e]" performed by the group BLUE ENCOUNT. Stay tuned.
