Disney's 1998 animated film "Mulan" is based on the Chinese folk song "Mulan Ci", telling the war and love story of Hua Mulan, a female general of the Sui Dynasty, who joined the army to fight against the Huns on behalf of her father. The global box office of "Mulan" exceeded 300 million US dollars that year , and the more down-to-earth story content is more suitable for the domestic market. According to reports, Chris Bender and JC Spink will be the producers, but no more details have been revealed yet.
