Actors of the live-action Halo series: It's totally OK to watch the second season directly

According to an actor in the live-action series "Halo", fans can completely ignore the first season, which was criticized by gamers and audiences, and start watching it directly from the second season without any obstacles.

In an interview with GamesRadar+, actor Joseph Morgan, who plays Office of Naval Intelligence (ONI) officer James Ackerson in the series, said he thought the second season was "a great entry point for newcomers".

"I've told my family who know about the Halo TV show and are excited about it to just start watching it with season 2."

He added: "There were definitely some great parts to the first season, there was a lot of value in it and certainly some great performances from the cast. But I think (season 2) is the show - at least for me."

Although the first season of Halo was said to cost up to $200 million, it was still criticized for its characters and plot that were out of touch with the game, as well as the uneven quality of special effects. A new producer was hired for the second season, and it was promised to be a "fresh start."

“When we were shooting, I asked showrunner David Wiener if he was going to do marketing that was, ‘Hey, this is a new version of the show, we’re moving away from season one,’ ” Morgan revealed. “And he said no, but I thought it was pretty clear that was going to happen.”

Halo Season 2 will focus on the UNSC and the Master Chief dealing with the growing threat of the alien race, the Covenant, and hopes to adapt the story of "The Fall of Reach", an event that led to the destruction of the planet and is a very important part of the Halo games, comics, novels and other official works.
