After seven years! Gosho Aoyama's manga "Magic Kaito" is expected to resume serialization

Recently, the official X (Twitter) of the manga "Detective Conan" which is being serialized in "Weekly Shonen Sunday" released a new tweet, suggesting that the manga "Magic Kaito" will resume serialization. The picture attached to the post contains the message "On April 10, 0:00, the series will return for the first time in 7 years" and is accompanied by the logo of Kaito Kid.

The manga "Magic Kaito" was originally serialized in "Weekly Shonen Sunday" in 1987, and has a longer history than the "Detective Conan" series. Since then, "Magic Kaito" has been serialized irregularly, and the last serialization was in 2017. If the series is restarted in 2024, it will be the first time in seven years.

In addition, April 10th is Wednesday, which is also the day when "Weekly Shonen Sunday" is released every week. Two days later, on April 12th, the "Detective Conan" movie starring Kaito Kid, "Detective Conan: The Million Dollar Five Prism" will be released in Japan.
