Today (January 24), Bilibili.com officially announced that starting from 2024, Bilibili will join hands with Kaiyodo to host the world's largest action figure exhibition Wonder Festival in mainland China, providing a communication platform for global action figure brands, IP parties, creators and enthusiasts. Wonder Festival is hosted by Kaiyodo, a Japanese figure manufacturer. It is a well-known large-scale figure exhibition in Japan and also the largest figure exhibition in the world. It is usually referred to as WF (ワンフェス). Wonder Festival has been held since 1984; after 1992, it was transferred to Kaiyodo, a figure manufacturer. This exhibition is held twice a year: once in winter (mainly in February) and once in summer (mainly in August). It was once held at the Tokyo Metropolitan Trade Center and Tokyo Big Sight. The current location is fixed at Makuhari Messe in Chiba City, Chiba Prefecture, Japan. Since Wonder Festival often has new product launches or related promotional activities by well-known manufacturers (for example: Good Smile Company's "WONDERFUL HOBBY LIFEF OR YOU!!"), and there will also be many fan groups who make or modify their works for sale, WF is also an important event that many figure enthusiasts pay attention to. |
