Paul Bettany to Return for Marvel's 'WandaVision' Spinoff

According to a recent report by foreign media "Variety", Marvel has hired "Star Trek: Picard" executive producer Terry Matalas as the series director of the unnamed Disney+ new series to be launched in 2026. In this series, Paul Bettany will return to play the role of Vision.

Audiences familiar with the Marvel Cinematic Universe must know Vision, a character with a tragic ending. As a created life form, Vision was fortunate enough to meet Scarlet Witch Wanda and develop feelings for her, but unfortunately he was eventually killed by Thanos.

In the spin-off series "Wanda and Vision", Wanda fantasizes about a happy life with Vision after they become husband and wife. Not only does the character of Vision reappear, but even the White Vision who was resurrected and lost his memory appears in the plot, and the White Vision also recovers his memory as Vision in the confrontation with the Vision created by Wanda.
