Actor Paul Giamatti says he wants to play a 007 villain

American actor and producer Paul Giamatti, who has starred in only 120 films and TV series and won the 68th Golden Globe Award for Best Actor in a Musical or Comedy for his role in "Barney's Life", recently said in an exclusive interview with "GQ" magazine that he wanted to star in a 007 movie and play a villain in it.

Paul Giamatti said, "I want to have a certain accent. I definitely play characters who want to have an accent. It would be even better if there was a pet with me."

He also said: "It doesn't have to be a cat, it doesn't have to be a parrot or something, but it has to be some kind of animal, some real creature. I don't have a clear idea yet, but the character must have an accent, such as a guy wearing a fur coat or something? That would be great."

The most recent "007" film in the series is "No Time to Die", which was released in 2021. There have been rumors about the filming plan of the new film for more than a year, but there is no official news yet.
