"Desperate Covenant" released poster: plane crash survivors eat companions' remains to survive

Recently, the new film "The Covenant" directed by Juan Antonio Bayona ("Jurassic World 2" and "A Monster Calls") released a new poster. The film will represent Spain in the 96th Academy Awards for International Film. The film will be released on January 4, 2025.

"The Covenant" is based on a true story and is adapted from the Andes plane crash. In 1972, a rugby team flew to Chile on Uruguayan Air Force Flight 571. The plane suffered a catastrophic crash on a glacier in the heart of the Andes Mountains, and only 29 of the 45 passengers survived. Faced with one of the most hostile environments in the world, they were forced to take extreme measures to save their lives - cannibalism.
