Apple joins hands with famous director Spielberg, HBO and others to create TV+ service

Early this morning, Apple held its first spring product launch event at the Steve Jobs Theater at its headquarters without launching any hardware devices, and officially launched its most anticipated original video service, Apple TV+.

Led by Steven Spielberg, J.J. Abrams, "Aquaman" Jason Momoa, Jennifer Aniston, Reese Witherspoon, Oprah Winfrey and other Hollywood directors and stars showed up to support the press conference titled "It's show time". Even Big Bird from Sesame Street came to join in the fun.

At the same time, a star-studded Apple TV+ trailer was also released at the press conference:

Hollywood celebrities who appear at the press conference and in the trailer will bring audiences their exclusive resources on Apple TV+, including Spielberg's classic remake of the sci-fi drama "Amazing Stories", "The Morning Show" co-produced by Steve Carell, Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon, and the new sci-fi drama "See" starring "Aquaman" Jason Momoa, and so on.

In addition, Apple TV+ has signed contracts with HBO, STARZ, Showtime and other TV stations to share content. The Apple TV app will be launched on iOS, Mac, Apple TV, Roku and FireTV devices in May. Subsequently, smart TVs from Samsung, Sony, LG and Vizio will also gain access to the app later this year. At today's press conference, Apple did not announce the subscription price.

Apple TV+ will officially launch this fall.
