The author of "Assassination Classroom" officially serializes the new manga based on Japanese historical stories

Today, January 25th, the latest issue of "Weekly Shonen Jump" was released. The new manga "Young Master! Escape" from the original author of the classic manga "Assassination Classroom" Matsui Yusei has officially started serialization. This work will be adapted from real historical events, so stay tuned.

· Matsui Yusei, born on January 31, 1981 in Iruma, Saitama Prefecture, is a Japanese manga artist. His representative works include "Assassination Classroom" and "Magic Detective Brain Gnaw Nero". His work "Assassination Classroom" won the 2014 This Comic is Really Awesome Best Male Manga Award. Matsui Yusei began serializing "Magic Detective Brain Gnaw Nero" in "Weekly Shonen Jump" magazine in 2005; and began serializing "Assassination Classroom" in "Weekly Shonen Jump" magazine in 2012.

·Masui Matsui returns to JUMP after 5 years since the completion of "Assassination Classroom" in 2016. With the official start of serialization of "Escape Master", the details of the story in the previous trailer have been released. The new work tells the story of the Kamakura Shogunate period in Japan in the 14th century. It takes Hojo Tokiyuki, the second son of the then Shogunate Chief Hojo Takatoki, as the protagonist, and tells the adventure story of this young prince who is not striving for progress and is always escaping.
