"Shang-Chi" has exceeded $250 million in global box office and has won two consecutive domestic titles in the United States

According to foreign media reports, Marvel's latest masterpiece "Shang-Chi" has grossed more than 250 million U.S. dollars (257.6 million U.S. dollars) worldwide, of which the domestic box office in the United States was 145.6 million U.S. dollars, making it the fourth highest-grossing film in the United States in 2021, just one step away from "Black Widow"'s 182 million U.S. dollars.

James Wan's Fatal Induction is the only new big-name competitor to Shang-Chi, but it only earned $5.57 million domestically, despite having a $40 million budget. Shang-Chi is not available on Disney+ yet, while Fatal Induction is already available on HBO Max.

Last week, Shang-Chi took the second consecutive title with $35.8 million at the U.S. box office. Fatal Induction failed to beat Freeze ($5.8 million) and ranked third, followed by the new version of Candyman ($4.8 million) and Jungle Cruise ($2.4 million).

The success of Shang-Chi drove Disney's decision to release Eternals theatrically, which will hit theaters on November 5.
