'Moon Rebels' Director Zack Snyder Says He Will Still Work With Amber Heard

'Moon Rebels' Director Zack Snyder Says He Will Still Work With Amber Heard

With "Aquaman 2: Fallen Kingdom" scheduled to be released on December 20, discussions about "Queen of the Sea" Amber's role in the film have once again surfaced.

Amber revealed in a 2022 legal battle with Johnny Depp that she believed her role in the film was cut because she received a new version of the script when she already had one, and the new script removed the action scenes of her and another character.

Of course, director James Wan said that this has little to do with Amber. The changes in the script are more about adjusting the story structure. "Aquaman 2" focuses on the story between Aquaman played by Jason Momoa and his brother Orm (played by Patrick Wilson).

In an interview with "Enterainment Weekly", James Wan said: "The first one is the journey of Aquaman and Mera, and the second one is an adventure movie about Aquaman's brothers."

However, "Moon Rebels" director Zack Snyder supported Amber in an interview with "THR". He said, "If other people don't like her, I don't know what to say, but I will work with her quickly."

Amber played Mera in Zack Snyder's "Justice League". In the director's cut of "Justice League", Amber also returned to reshoot some scenes. Of course, only time will tell whether Zack Snyder will keep his word.
