It was broadcast on 28 TV stations in Japan on Mainichi Broadcasting System and TBS TV Station from October 5, 2002 to September 27, 2003, with a total of 50 episodes. The sequel "Mobile Suit Gundam SEED DESTINY" was broadcast from October 9, 2004 to October 1, 2005, with a total of 50 episodes.
