The Netflix version of The Witcher TV series has been well received by fans of the original novel and game players, successfully boosting the sales of the novel and game, so Netflix has decided to launch The Witcher Season 2 early. The second season, which is expected to start filming this month, has also recently revealed many details about the cast, such as the selection of four directors, and today DeadLine has brought exclusive news that the crew has decided to add original supporting roles in the second season. Carmel Laniado, the actress of "Funny Dolittle", will join the cast as a character named Violet. DeadLine describes the character as "a young girl whose naughty and eccentric behavior masks her smart and cruel character." It is reported that Violet, a supporting role, will appear in at least three episodes of "The Witcher" Season 2. Considering that there may be only 8 episodes in a season, her role is actually not small. Series creator Lauren S Hissrich has assured viewers that the second season will be more linear, and given Violet's age, she's likely to feature in Ciri's main storyline. The second season of The Witcher will begin filming in the UK this month. |
