A sad boy fights evil spirits! Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba will premiere in April 2019, latest stills and art images released

At the "JUMP Festival 2019" held in Makuhari, Chiba today, the official announcement was made that the TV animation of "Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba", a youth fantasy manga written by Japanese cartoonist Koyoharu Gotouge, will be broadcast in April 2019. At the same time, the latest art pictures and stills were released for you to enjoy.

Demon Slayer tells the story of Tanjiro, a charcoal seller whose ordinary and happy daily life changes drastically on the day his family is attacked by an evil demon. His mother and four siblings are brutally killed, and his sister Nezuko, who survived with him, is transformed into a ferocious demon.

Under the guidance of the ghost hunter, Tanjiro, who is determined to become a ghost hunter, and Nezuko, who has become a ghost but still has her sanity, embark on a journey. Through arduous swordsmanship training and life-threatening trials, Tanjiro becomes a member of the ghost hunter organization "Demon Slayer Corps". In order to turn his sister Nezuko back into a human, and to defeat the evil ghosts who killed his family, the boy's battle with the ghosts will never stop.

The TV animation of "Demon Slayer" is produced by ufotable and is scheduled to start broadcasting in April 2019. At the same time, the latest art and stills are released:
