Ben Stiller invited former US President Obama to star in "The Cut" but was rejected

The second season of the thriller TV series "The Cut" co-directed by Ben Stiller is currently on air. Recently, Ben Stiller revealed on "Jimmy Kimmel Live" that he had originally planned to invite former US President Obama to star in the show, but was rejected because of "Obama's style."

Ben Stiller explained: "I received an email from former President Barack Obama, (Obama replied) 'Hey, Ben, I'm a big fan of this TV series, I love the first season, and I can't wait to watch the second season. But I don't think I have time to participate in this project. "

Ben Stiller wanted to invite Obama to play the Lumont Building that appeared in the promotional video for the second season of "The Cut." After the show was broadcast, its creator Dan Erickson finally confirmed that Keanu Reeves was invited to voice the role.
