In the clip, Davros, the creator of the Doctor's most famous villain, the Daleks, returns in a relatively young image. David Tennant, who played the 10th Doctor, returns to play the 14th Doctor, and this time travels through time to the origin of the Daleks, accidentally giving the Daleks their name himself and changing their design.

The first episode is titled "The Star Beast" and the remaining two episodes are "The Wild Blue Yonder" and "The Giggle", which will air on November 25, December 2, and December 9 respectively.

In addition to David Tennant's 14th Doctor, Catherine Tate, who played the 10th Doctor's classic companion Donna, will also return.
