Netflix has released the first trailer for the fantasy series Dead Boy Detectives, which will air in 2024. Dead Boy Detectives is set in the same universe as Netflix's Sandman. Trailer: Dead Boys Detective Agency trailer description: "Are you being haunted by a nasty ghost? Has a demon stolen your core memory? You might want to give Dead Boys a call. In this new supernatural series set in the Sandman universe, two teenagers find each other in death...and will stop at nothing to stay together, including escaping an evil witch, Hell, and the Grim Reaper. With the help of clairvoyant Crystal (Kassius Nelson), they must work together to solve some of the most mysterious supernatural cases on earth.” The upcoming series follows ghost protagonists Charles Rowland (Jayden Revri) and Edwin Payne (George Rexstrew) as they form the Dead Boys Detective Agency. After their own deaths, Charles and Edwin team up in the afterlife to solve mysteries that continue to haunt the living. In the trailer, Charles introduces himself to the audience as the "behind-the-scenes driving force" of the two detective actions, while Edwin is the "behind-the-scenes think tank." For comic fans, this is in line with the setting of the original work. The trailer also features the first glimpse of a clairvoyant named Crystal, who can communicate with Charles and Edwin from another world. With the help of Crystal's supernatural abilities, Charles and Edwin will face everything from witchcraft to hell and the embodiment of death. Video Screen: |
