Doctor Morbius postponed again to April 1, 2022

Today (January 4), according to foreign media IGN, Sony Pictures announced that the new Spider-Man Universe film "Doctor Vigilante: Morbius" has been postponed again and will be released on April 1, 2022.

Earlier, "Doctor Morbius" was scheduled to be released on July 31, 2020. Later, due to the new crown epidemic, the release date of the film was postponed continuously. From March 2021 to October 2021, then to January 21, 2022, to January 28, 2022. Now it has been postponed to April 1, 2022.

"Doctor Morbius" tells the story of Michael Morbius, a biological scientist who was suffering from a rare disease. In order to find a cure, he experimented on his own body, which resulted in a mutation and he became a "living vampire". He became like a bat, with super strength, agility, echo sensing and other super powers, but he was afraid of light, bloodthirsty and dangerous...

"Doctor Morbius" belongs to Sony's Spider-Man Cinematic Universe, along with Spider-Man and Venom. It is directed by Daniel Espinosa and stars Jared Leto, Michael Keaton, Matt Smith, Tyrese Gibson, Jared Harris and others.
