The December issue of Kodansha's girls' magazine Nakayoshi has confirmed that CLAMP's Cardcaptor Sakura: Clear Card Arc manga will conclude with the publication of the magazine's next issue on December 1st. The 15th volume of the manga will be released on November 13, and the 16th and final volume will be released on April 1, 2024. Last year we reported that the manga would end at volume 15. Apparently CLAMP still had stories they wanted to tell, so the manga was extended several times. Will there be a sequel this time? The sequel to this classic manga was serialized in Kodansha's Nakayoshi magazine in June 2016. The 14th volume was published on March 31 of this year. The sequel also received an anime adaptation, which aired from January to June 2018, with a total of 22 episodes. A second season of the anime is planned, but the broadcast date has not yet been announced. |
