Mission: Impossible 8 delayed to 2025 due to actors' strike

Due to the ongoing actors' strike, the release date of "Mission: Impossible 8" has been postponed to 2025. The film was originally scheduled to be released in June 2024, but has now been rescheduled to May 23, 2025.

As the eighth film in the series, "Mission: Impossible - Deadly Reckoning 2" will follow the finale of "Mission: Impossible 7: Deadly Reckoning 1". Like other films in the series, the film is expected to revolve around a series of death-defying stunts, most of which will be performed by movie star Tom Cruise himself.

Mission: Impossible - Reckoning Part 1 was one of the poorer films of 2023, ultimately costing Paramount about $40 million. However, the film was praised by critics and was one of the best-reviewed films of 2023.

Mission: Impossible 7 was named one of the must-see movies of the year by MTC
