story

Yearning, obsession, desire... People have seven emotions and six desires, but when they grow and become uncontrollable, that's when demons and evil spirits run rampant.

In the prosperous ancient capital of Heian-kyō, the people are being harassed by demons. To find out the truth behind this, Emperor Daigo's grandson, Minamoto no Hiromasa, who is also a court musician, visits the Onmyoji Ryo, where he meets the only person who can solve this mystery: the powerful Onmyoji Abe Haruaki. He exudes an aura of transcendence, seems to be uninterested in worldly affairs, and has no desire to help, which makes Haruaki hit a big nail. However, the two finally tracked down the culprit and will face off against Ashiya Michimitsu who is hiding in the shadow of evil. The companions traveling with Haruaki and Haruaki include Prince Dunshi, who teaches Haruaki the art of flute, the Emperor's Onmyoji Kamo Yasunori, and Tsukohime who joins them by chance.
