Death Stranding to be produced by Kojima Productions and A24

Kojima Productions is working with A24 to create a live-action Death Stranding movie. The news comes from the $40 Death Stranding xA24 themed T-shirt listed on A24's official website store.

We’ve partnered with Kojima Productions to make a live-action film based on Hideo Kojima’s famous video game Death Stranding, and you can even buy a $40 T-shirt with the A24 logo on it, which is a remake of Death Stranding.

It's unclear how A24 will factor in, but it certainly brings some impressive film pedigree. In the past 12 months, A24 has partly produced or co-produced films including Talk to Me, Past Lives and The Whale. Other acclaimed productions include Lady Bird, The Green Knight and Everything Everywhere All at Once - which won the Best Picture Oscar earlier this year.

"Death Stranding" was released in 2019 and tells the story of courier Sam Porter Bridges (played by Daryl Reed) struggling to reconnect the fragmented United States after a doomsday event known as "Death Stranding".
