The ill-fated "Doctor Strange 2" movie is undergoing large-scale reshoots

According to The Hollywood Reporter, "Doctor Strange 2" is undergoing large-scale reshoots.

Reports indicate that Doctor Strange 2 will undergo large-scale reshoots from now until the end of the year, with lead actor Benedict Cumberbatch and director Sam Raimi working six days a week on new shoots for the next six weeks.

Raimi will direct the reshoots, with Rocky TV series writer Michael Waldron writing the script for the new material.

Sources say other MCU movies have undergone larger-scale reshoots, and this is not something particularly new.

However, this reshoot does not mean a change in the script structure. It is reported that this reshoot is mainly used to fill the missing materials caused by the actors' schedule problems. In addition, the impact of the new crown epidemic has also slowed down the pace of the British crew. Disney and Marvel's delays in the release of the MCU series of movies are also based on the same reason.

In addition to "Doctor Strange 2", "Black Panther 2" has also been postponed to next year due to problems encountered by the leading actor.
