The shareholders of Guangzhou Danmu Network Technology Co., Ltd., the operating entity of AcFun Danmu Video Network (A Station), have changed. Beijing Danmu Network Technology Co., Ltd. has withdrawn and Guangzhou Danmu Network Technology Co., Ltd. has become a wholly-owned subsidiary of Beijing Kuaishou Technology Co., Ltd. At the same time, the registered capital of Guangzhou Danmu Network Technology Co., Ltd. has soared from 11.764707 million yuan to 400 million yuan.

In June 2018, Kuaishou announced the full acquisition of Station A. Kuaishou will provide support to Station A in terms of funding, resources, technology, etc., while Station A will maintain its independent brand, maintain independent operations, and retain its original team.

In June 2018, Kuaishou co-founder Yin Xin joined the board of directors of Station A. In July, Yin Xin replaced Station A CEO Liu Yanyan as the legal representative of Guangzhou Danmu Network Technology Co., Ltd. The legal representative of Beijing Danmu Network Technology Co., Ltd. established by Station A in Beijing was also changed to Yin Xin. The original shareholders of Station A, including Softbank, Liu Yanyan, and Cai Dongqing, have successively withdrawn.

The main personnel currently listed on the industrial and commercial information of Station A are: Executive Director and General Manager Yin Xin, and Supervisor Jia Hongyi.

Kuaishou has been active recently. In June 2018, it announced the acquisition of Station A and sponsored popular variety shows such as "Sound into the Scene". Its commercialization process is also accelerating. It launched the Kuaishou marketing platform and focused on information flow advertising and Kuaishou e-commerce. In terms of product matrix, in addition to Kuaishou and Station A, Kuaishou has also launched "Beng Di" focusing on electronic music and "UGet" focusing on various skill learning tutorials.

However, as the oldest video barrage website in China, Station A has fallen behind its old rival Bilibili (Bilibili) in terms of user scale, which has already landed on the Nasdaq in March 2018.
