"Captain America 4" producer: Sam must endure hardships just like Rocky

At the end of "The Falcon and the Winter Soldier", Sam Wilson took up the shield and became the new Captain America. But he still needs to work hard to earn this title.

In a recent interview, Marvel producer Nate Moore said that Wilson must prove himself in "Captain America 4".

"I think he's not Steve Rogers, and that's a good thing," he said. "To me, the new Captain America is like Sylvester Stallone's Rocky. He has to get into bad times. He's not a super soldier. He's not a hundred years old. He doesn't have the help of the Avengers."

At the end of "The Falcon and the Winter Soldier", Sam Wilson inherited the mantle of Captain America, but it was not without opposition.

"What happens when this guy publicly declares himself to be Captain America without any backing? I find that interesting because he's a regular guy," Moore said. "He's a guy with wings and a shield, but he's a regular guy."

"We're going to put him through the wringer, make him earn the title and see what happens when he overcomes all the odds. What does it take to be Captain America? I don't think it takes a super soldier. We're going to show that with Sam Wilson."
