Marvel's Daredevil completely abandons Netflix's Kingpin actor responds to leaving the crew

Vincent D'Onofrio, who plays the famous Marvel villain Kingpin in the Daredevil TV series, recently discussed on social media the radical creative overhaul that Marvel has decided to make to the new version.

.

He wrote on Twitter: "Every cool project I've ever been involved in has been evolving in pre-production, production, and post. Reporting on it is like big news these days."

"That's not the case. It's simply a group of creative people trying to do the best they can. That's the norm in the industry. I'm not unhappy about that. Frankly, I'd be concerned if we were willing to compromise. This is the best show we can put out. We're proud of it."

It was previously reported that Marvel fired the writer and director of the new "Daredevil: Rebirth". The American Writers Guild strike that began in mid-June interrupted the production of the show. After reviewing the footage that had been shot for the show, Marvel executives including Kevin Feige believed that "the show was not successful."

At the time, the show was scheduled to be shot for 18 episodes, but less than half of the scenes had been shot.
