TV animation "Godzilla: Singularity Point" new characters revealed, to be aired in April 2021

The new Godzilla TV animation "Godzilla: Singularity Point" produced by Bones and Orange will be broadcast in April 2021. Netflix will be responsible for global distribution. On December 9th, the official announced several characters. Let's take a look.

·Since the first movie in 1954, the "Godzilla" series has produced and released many works, and now it has become a very well-known character both in Japan and abroad. From 2017 to 2018, a total of 3 animated films were released, but this time "Godzilla: Singularity Point" will unfold with an original story that is completely different from the movie.

Godzilla: Strange Point is directed by Atsushi Takahashi, who directed the Doraemon theatrical version, and written by Toru Enjo, the author of the novel The Chouji no Chou. The original design is by Kato Kazue, the author of the manga Ao no Exorcist. The music is by composer Kan Sawada, and the monsters are designed by Eiji Yamamori. The legendary animator Eiji Yamamori from Studio Ghibli was also invited to design the new Godzilla monsters.

·This time, the official has revealed several characters. The heroine, Kamino Akira, is a female research scholar who will be played by Miyamoto Yuume. The male protagonist, Arikawa YON, who is a technician, will be played by Ishige Shouya. The voice actors who play other characters include Kuno Misaki, Kugimiya Rie, Kiuchi Taro, Takagi Wataru, Atakami Yohei, Suzumura Kenichi, etc.
