Directed by Guillermo del Toro, the director of Pacific Rim, Netflix's stop-motion animated film Pinocchio has released its first official Chinese-subtitled trailer and will be launched in December this year. Trailer: The original work tells the story of an old carpenter and a Pinocchio puppet whose "nose grows when he lies". The Gyro version will have a "darker and twisted adaptation" and will be a musical.
