The zombie horror film "28 Days Later" released a trailer at the end of last year. One of the zombies resembled Jim (played by Cillian Murphy), the protagonist of the original "28 Days Later", which led many people to speculate that Cillian Murphy would return to star in this film. However, Andrew MacDonald, the producer of "28 Years Later", made it clear in an interview with foreign media "EmpireOnline" that Cillian Murphy will not star in the film, but may appear "somewhere". MacDonald explained: "In this case, we want him to be involved and he is willing to be involved. He didn't appear in the first movie, but I hope to have Jim in the subsequent plot. He is currently involved as an executive producer, and I hope we can work with him in some way in the future trilogy." The zombie who actually resembles Cillian Murphy is played by actor Angus Neil, to which director Danny Boyle added: "I showed the trailer to my girlfriend and she said, 'People are going to think that's Cillian.' I said, 'Don't be silly.' I ignored her. So I've been a bit ashamed ever since." |
